What we face today may change, but the Lord’s goodness does not. His love is not tied to our success, strength, or circumstances. In weariness and in joy, we meet the same faithful God. The grace that carried us before is enough for today and for the days ahead. Let us remember his faithfulness before we listen to the voice of anxiety. Even in small gifts, we can give thanks and open our hearts again to his goodness.

Good and faithful Lord, teach me to trust your unchanging love in changing circumstances. Open my eyes to gifts I have overlooked and lead me from complaint to gratitude. Remind me how you have carried me before and give me courage for what I face today. Help me proclaim your faithfulness not only with words but with my life. Let your love be seen through my patience, mercy, and kindness toward others. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Your help is not limited to the possibilities you can see. The Maker of heaven and earth can open a way for you. Do not mistake today’s closed doors for the limit of God’s power; ask him for wisdom and watch carefully for the way he opens.

Hope does not mean everything will be easy. It means the Lord will remain faithful. Take one more step in prayer today. Endurance often grows through small, faithful prayers before great answers arrive; do not postpone that prayer today.

Instead of allowing anxiety to grow inside you, place it before the Lord in prayer. No detail of your life is beneath his care. Name your worries one by one and entrust them to God; your heart can breathe again when you remember that you do not have to control everything.

Fear may make the future look dark, but the Lord holds today and tomorrow and walks with you. Name what you fear in prayer today and place it in the Lord’s hands; his presence will give you courage to walk through uncertainty.

Whatever weight you carry today, you are not alone. Where your strength ends, God’s faithfulness does not. Do not rush to pull yourself together in your own strength; pause before the Lord and tell him plainly what you need.

No darkness can extinguish the light of Christ. Turn your attention to him again today. Bring your confused thoughts and wounded hopes into his light; when you follow Christ, darkness cannot have the final word over your story.
