What Is in the New Testament?

The Gospels

• Matthew presents the life, teaching, death and resurrection of Jesus and shows that he is the promised Messiah.
• Mark is the shortest Gospel and moves directly into the ministry of Jesus.
• Luke sets out to give an orderly and careful account of the life of Jesus.
• John declares that Jesus is the eternal Word of God who became flesh and lived among us.
